On Thursday 18th October 2012 at the Cargo Bar the annual Amber Affair event will be held to help raise funds for the Sydney Children’s Hospital. The evening brings together beer lovers Sydney wide to appreciate a range of boutique beers. Throughout the evening a range of tasty treats and relaxed fundraising initiatives will be held to help support the hospital.
Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation holds the event, which is the principle fundraising body for the hospital. This year Santa Vittoria, Cargo Bar, Grain Creative, Brand Knew, Bespoke Social and Sargents Pies Charitable Foundation support the event alongside Think Big Online.
As part of our company mission of contributing to the local community when we were approached to sponsor the event we immediately said yes. To align ourselves with a great hospital, a great foundation and enjoy a few boutique beers seemed like the perfect fundraiser for us.
So over the past few weeks we’ve been working with the fundraising team to put together a brand new site, which promotes the event. Attendees can buy tickets online directly off the site or make a donation to the Sydney Children’s Hospital.
This has been a passion project for us and we’d love to see our fans, followers and readers at the event to share a beer or two. From the look of last year’s photo’s a great time was had by all and 2012 looks like it’s going to be an even better event.
